Looking for an amazing one-of-a-kind spot for a private party or special event? Our tasting room hay loft is the perfect venue located on the second floor of our Tasting Barn.

Our hay loft is available to rent as a special venue for 25-49 people. All events include dedicated space with private tables. We offer a fresh selection of beer on tap, as well as an assortment of board games for your guests to enjoy. The venue is BYOF which means you can bring in your own food and catering.

To begin the event booking process, please complete the private event request form on this page and we’ll be in touch with you shortly! Please also read the FAQ’s below as there are some specific regulations imposed on breweries in New Jersey.

Please remember we are a brewery, celebrations must be adult oriented (no children’s birthday parties). No more than FIVE guests can be under the age of 21 and any guest under the age of 21 must be seated upstairs at all times or accompanied by an adult downstairs at all times.

WHAT TYPES OF EVENTS CAN I HOST?

We’re happy to have just about any type of event as long as it is for an adult celebration such as adult birthdays, anniversaries, holiday parties, engagement parties, club meet ups, charity events, networking, and other corporate events. If you’ve got an idea or a need, just give us a shout.

WHEN CAN I HOST AN EVENT?

Just about anytime – costs vary based on our operating hours so when you fill out the form be sure to give us info on when during the week. We have pre-set time frames during our operating hours for when rentals can occur, please be sure to select a 3 hour or 4 hour time frame when filling out the form and these time frames cannot be changed. Please note that if your event is during our normal business hours, there could be live music downstairs and there will also be other customers downstairs. If you are interested in renting our space outside of normal operating hours please select “Other” in the time frames.

CAN I BRING OUTSIDE ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES FOR GUESTS WHO DON’T DRINK BEER?

At this time no.  We are a brewery and you are choosing to have a party at a brewery so it is all about the beer!  No outside alcohol is permitted at this time. Also we cannot guarantee what beers, hard seltzers and non-alcoholic sodas will be available the day of your party as our brewers are always working hard on our ever changing offerings - but know that we will always have a wide selection of delicious beers available!

WHAT’S ON THE MENU?

We cannot serve food (No production Brewery in NJ is allowed to provide food), however you can arrange your own food to bring in like catering or pizza. Food trucks are not allowed and no cooking on-premises is allowed (e.g. hot plates for an omelet station - this is against the law in NJ at a brewery). An electric coffee pot is allowed but no electric warmers, only sternos for hot food are allowed. The coffee pot has to be plugged directly into the wall outlet, no extension cord. You will be responsible for cleaning all of the garbage up afterwards and remove all food and catering supplies (this is required by the NJ ABC regulations). Our Team Members will take all the garbage to the dumpster for you.

Please note we do not have a kitchen of any sort and cannot provide freezer space, ice, refrigeration space, etc… We will provide 3 plastic tables (4’ x 2’) for food/catering - please no catering/food stations on our custom-made wooden loft tables. No additional tables can be brought in due to fire code restrictions and we do not provide table cloths.

You can bring in coolers with ice.

CAN WE DECORATE THE HAY LOFT?

Yes you can but we ask that only table centerpieces are used, and balloons are attached to chairs only via tying. We renovated a 250 year old barn – please don’t tape, glue, staple, nail anything to any part of the barn wood or to any sprinkler piping or metal support rods. Enjoy the beautiful space – nothing else really needs to be added except you and your guests!

HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN WE INVITE?

No more than 49 people can be upstairs – this includes EVERYONE – maximum occupancy according to fire safety is 49 total people - yes, including infants and any catering staff attending the event. We reserve the right to ask guests to go downstairs if the event is over capacity and Team Members can also end an event due to lack of cooperation in abiding by fire safety requirements for everyone’s safety.

WHAT IS THE TABLE SET-UP IN THE LOFT?

The Loft is preset with 2 - 10 person tables, 2 - 6 person tables and 4 - 4 person tables. Tables can be pushed together and arranged differently but must be returned to their original spots after the event is over. No additional tables can be brought into the Loft for safety reasons. We reserve the right to advise the host if tables are set-up in a way that could inhibit fire egress.

WILL YOU BE SERVING OUR GUESTS THEIR BEERS?

We cannot, all guests must check-in downstairs upon arrival for a State mandated tour (a brief educational interaction with one of our team members) and beers can be ordered only at the bar in a separate line just for your guests.  We will provide staff to occasionally come and collect dirty glassware. We do offer various options for tracking drinks if you are providing an “open bar” for guests as opposed to a “cash bar”.

WHAT ABOUT OUR WEDDING OR CAN WE HAVE OUR PARTY OUTSIDE? WE WANT TO GET MARRIED ON THE FARM AND HAVE A RECEPTION IN THE BREWERY OR AN AWESOME SHOWER ON THE FARM!

We do not currently rent the Brewery for weddings. Also the space outside of our premises is not actually ours - it belongs to Carriage Farm which does not currently rent their property for private events. However we would love to host your rehearsal dinner or shower in our loft! We also do not rent our outdoor patio areas as we cannot provide inclement weather contingency plans.
