Situated on beautiful Carriage Farm right in the heart of Hillsborough, our 250 year old barns that now house our 15 barrel brewhouse provide a unique tasting room experience that will leave you with great memories.

FROM A DREAM IN 2005 TO REALITY IN 2021

When Flounder first started envisioning what Flounder Brewing was to be one day it was about ultimately growing the Brewery to a full-time business with team members that genuinely enjoy where they work, along with a beautiful location that in itself told a story. The right team, the right atmosphere, and great beer all combined can genuinely create a great experience, a community, a unique destination like no other.

After opening in 2013 in a small industrial park garage, Flounder, brother Dan and Cousin Billy never lost sight of that goal. Together with the team the Brewery grew step-by-step and the time came for a major expansion and the perfect future home of Flounder was found in 2018. Fast forward through a few years of design and then build and the Brewery opened up to the public in June of 2021 in its new home…beautiful repurposed 250 year old barns on Carriage Farm.
